The second of the Spanish battalions I finished – the Valencia Regiment. Once again Elite Miniatures with a few Front Rank command figures thrown in.
The Front Rank figures work well with the Elite figures I think.
I really like the Spanish Grenadiers with the beehive shaped bearskins and decorative bags hanging down at the back. I just do some weird hieroglyphs on a background of the unit facing colour. No idea if it is right or wrong but seems to work. The Elite figures are in a mixture of gaiters and ‘rustic’ footwear.
The completed Spanish Brigade – well sort of. Once more white coated battalion to do, then the Real Compania Irlandesa will move into a Guards Brigade.

A great looking unit, love the fifer.
One of the few Front Rankers not too fat to fit with Elite figures 🙂
Love your Spanish infantry! I agree with the above comment: musician is striking.
Thanks for the kind response. Appreciate it.
