Because I am too lazy to write this game up I have re-blogged this from Terry’s Gaming Garage. It was a fun game. Attached are a few more pics.

For the record I failed command rolls for one of my Union cavalry brigades (five regiments of cavalry) four times, not two. That included having my Divisional Commander there for re-rolls. Usually if I don’t have bad dice-luck I don’t have any dice-luck at all. So business as usual.

As an aside, I have been speed painting Confederate units. My units are 25 minis strong for infantry, 12 for cavalry and 9 dismounted on oval bases. In the last two months I have done nearly 13 infantry regiments, 4 guns and crew, three cavalry regiments with dismounted and horse-holders. My record was one infantry regiment completed from bare metal to based in two days. I wont say they are great, but they are good enough and ready for the table.
