Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremmas. Well yesterday, mummy and daddy abandoned left Me and Nellie to go and collect the new Me. They left very early in the morning and came back in the evening. Mummy took some photos of their road trip:

And now for our international readers, who may think that all there is in New Zealand are hobbits and sheep, you will be glad to know that We too have access to 24 hour a day hamburgers in such cosmopolitan town of Taihape, the gumboot capital of New Zealand.

That looks like a lovely trip Brian, and I have to say that the older I get the more appealing the Waikato region seems to be. Some lovely country around there. Plus NZ does make the best hamburgers ever, I have to admit. They put ours in Oz completely in the shade…

We have decided to do a bit of a road trip soon – spend a bit of time in these small towns – they all have a museum, some interesting junk shops – and of course, great takeaway shops.
