Union Horse Holders (Perry Miniatures)

I painted these using Army Painter and Games Workshop speed paints. Never used them before so this was an experiment. They were easy to use. I started with a black undercoat and a fairly heavy white dry brush. I really hate painting horses so these speed paints are a real bonus for getting them done…

I really hate painting horses so these speed paints are a real bonus for getting them done quickly.

Mounted these on 60mm circles.

    I have never tried these speed paints but have been very tempted. The results certainly look great Brian.

      I am still not sure – painting dismounted cavalry using speed paints at the moment and they are looking so-so at the moment. I guess I will have to wait and see 🙂
